First and foremost, never pump the mascara wand in and out of the tube, as this introduces air that can dry out the formula. Begin at the base of your upper lashes and move the wand in a zigzag motion from side to side, working towards the tips of your eyelashes. Leave to dry and apply a second coat for a more dramatic eye makeup look.
